Brighton and Hove City Mission (BHCM) is a Christian charity founded in 1849 to serve the city, with the Church, for Christ. We do this through three teams. Our Schools team provokes interest in Christianity to instil social, moral, spiritual, and cultural values; our Brighton Food Bank alleviates the impact of financial crisis on individuals and families; and our Rest Homes team relieves isolation and loneliness, whilst connecting residents with the Christian faith. Inspired by the life and teaching of Christ, we continually identify the social and spiritual needs of Brighton and Hove. We intentionally work closely with the local church to equip, support, train, and resource others to provide a united response to the needs of our city.
