We are seeking an Associate Minister to collaborate closely with our Senior Minister, sharing responsibilities in key areas of focus while using their unique gifts and strengths.

The Associate Minister will share responsibilities alongside the Senior Minister and existing ministry teams, including:

  • Preaching and teaching the Scriptures
  • Leading worship services
  • Taking funerals and weddings
  • Providing pastoral care to the congregation and wider community
  • Supporting and managing those serving within the church.

We are seeking an Associate Minister to take a leading role in specific areas of ministry, helping to identify and nurture the gifts of our church family. We believe this will enable us to serve God more effectively together.

Whether your passion lies in pastoral care, youth and children’s ministry, or community outreach, we welcome your ideas and vision.

Essentials -

The ideal candidate will be someone who:

  • Has a passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ and a desire to share it with others
  • Demonstrates the fruit of the Spirit in their life
  • Possesses a servant heart, with a strong commitment to ministry
  • Is a gifted preacher and teacher of the Bible
  • Can identify and develop the gifts and talents of others
  • Is in alignment with the Baptist Union of Great Britain’s Declaration of Principle
  • Shares the Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith
  • Has a full enhanced DBS disclosure, and is committed to the church's policy on safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
  • Preferred qualifications-

  • Accreditation with the Baptist Union of Great Britain
  • A degree in theology or a related field
