The Philanthropy and Events Officer, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy (Strategic Engagement), is responsible for four main functions to support CAP's philanthropy team in securing major gifts from trusts, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals: the processing of financial gifts, the stewardship of financial gifts, including acknowledgement of gifts, communications to donors and mailings, ensuring the CRM is accurately updated, coordination and planning of events.

The Personal Assistant position provides advanced, highly efficient administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth functioning of the offices of their senior leader. They undertake a variety of tasks to deliver the ongoing running of the Chief's day-to-day work. This role is critical in enabling the Chief to focus their time and energy on areas where they can have the most impact, directly contributing to CAP's mission and success.

The Philanthropy Leads, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, are responsible for inspiring new prospective, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. They aim to draw supporters closer to the work we do, deepening their relationship and support of CAP. Income from CAP’s major donors is vital for the future expansion of CAP in the UK.

The Safeguarding Lead role is responsible for administering, assessing, and resolving day-to-day safeguarding incidents to ensure the safety and well-being of all clients, staff and local CAP workers, working closely with external agencies as required.

Although this role is ideally hybrid, with 40-60 percent of hours worked at our Bradford offices, we would consider remote working for the right candidate
