Human Resources Manager Working in Ellis Fermor and Negus offices across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire (Beeston, Belper, Long Eaton, Ripley and West Bridgford) Hours can be part time or full time Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications We are a high street solicitors practice with an enviable reputation for the quality of our services. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support our growing firm of over 130 staff in offices across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire This is a standalone role so you will need to have significant generalist HR experience and enjoy both strategic work and involvement in operational and day to day tasks. Main duties include advising on employment law, terms and conditions and general HR issues, recruitment and selection, acting as a trusted advisor to senior managers, policy development, wellbeing support and signposting, performance management, monitoring and managing sickness absence, employee relations and HR administration. You must have an excellent understanding of employment law, experience of working effectively and collaboratively with managers and staff, experience of policy development and implementation and be highly self-motivated and organised with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to be intentionally approachable are also vital.
