Urban Promise UK, in partnership with St Mark's Church, is seeking a passionate and dynamic Youth Worker to empower young people in Marks Gate. Since 2022, UPUK has been dedicated to equipping teenagers and primary school children with the spiritual, academic, and personal tools they need to thrive through our Student Leader Programme and After School Club. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of this mission, making a tangible difference in young lives and contributing to a growing movement of community transformation rooted in Christian faith.

As our Youth Worker, you will bridge the vibrant communities of UPUK and St Mark's Church, where a thriving youth group has blossomed since its online beginnings in 2020. You will mentor teens in our Student Leader Programme, support their academic growth, and empower them to lead in our after-school club and kitchen. Furthermore, you will lead engaging activities for St Mark's Church youth, fostering a cohesive and supportive environment where young people connect, grow in faith, and feel empowered. This dual role is perfect for someone adaptable, inspiring, and ready to shape a unified and thriving youth community.

 

This is a hybrid role that will include some work from home and on site work at fixed hours in Dagenham (RM6).

Hours are full time (37.5 hrs) and paid at London Living Wage.
