About the Role

Ever wondered how a radio station runs so smoothly, 24 hours a day? Every perfectly timed song, message, and ministry segment doesn’t happen by accident—it’s the result of careful scheduling, sharp attention to detail, and the work of a dedicated team behind the scenes.

UCB (United Christian Broadcasters) is looking for a Radio Playout Scheduler to join our national broadcasting UCB 2 team on a part-time basis for a 12-month maternity cover role.

This is your chance to play a vital part in the smooth delivery of our Christian radio output, using professional playout software and helping shape what thousands of people hear each day.

About You

You don’t have to have a background in radio production —training can and will be provided—but you should be:

  • Technically confident and comfortable learning new computer software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • A good communicator and team player.
  • Calm under pressure and methodical in your approach.
  • Passionate about Christian broadcasting and ministry.

Why Work for UCB

At UCB, we believe in changing lives for good through the power of God’s word.

When you join our team, you’ll experience:

  • A supportive, faith-based work environment.
  • The opportunity to work with industry-standard radio software.
  • Part-time hours that offer flexibility and a work-life balance.
  • The chance to play a meaningful role in a national Christian media ministry.
