North East Team Leader (maternity cover)

The UCCF North-East region spans a large geographical area from South Yorkshire up to Northumberland. Within this area, there are a wide range of university contexts: from large collegiate universities at Durham and York, multi-university cities in Newcastle, Sheffield and Leeds, and a host of other medium and smaller university centres, including several specialist institutions. This makes it one of our largest regions with over 1000 students taking a full and regular part in the life of around 20 Christian Unions.

The details of the role include:

• The full time salary is £43,781- £49,035 per annum, depending on experience
• Full time hours are 37.50 per week. We welcome part-time applicants (0.7 FTE minimum)
• Staff are asked to seek to raise funds to cover their salary figure (other employment costs associated with posts are met from UCCF’s General Funds). To help staff reach this, we set an initial fundraising requirement of £8,500 per annum for four years towards your total employment costs. Staff are helped by our Development and Communications Team to reach their financial targets.
• 30 days holiday per year, plus 8 public holidays
• The start date of the contract is September/ October (to be agreed at appointment)
