Field Officer (Part-Time, Southeast Region – Female Only)

Hours: 18.75 hours per week (pro rata of 37.5)
Location: Home-based (Southeast UK), with travel to placements and occasional overnight stays
About Time for God (TfG)
Time for God is a well-established international Christian volunteering charity. Each year we recruit, train, and support full-time volunteers, many from overseas, who serve in UK-based placements. Through this, we create an environment where young adults are encouraged to explore and grow in their Christian faith, while serving the wider community.
The Role
We are seeking to appoint a capable, motivated, and enthusiastic Part - Time Field Officer to join our small, dedicated Field Team. Working part-time and from home, you will provide direct support to both volunteers and placements across the Southeast. This role involves travel (with occasional overnight stays) and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young adults.
Key Responsibilities

Provide pastoral care, guidance, and mentoring for volunteers.

Support placements to ensure a positive and nurturing environment.

Deliver training sessions, both in person and online.

Act as a key point of contact for volunteers, placements, and the wider TfG team.

Assist with programme administration as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a woman based in the Southeast region, with a strong commitment to Christian values and young adult development. You will be:

Experienced (minimum 2 years) in youth work, outreach, or young adult/student ministry.

Skilled in pastoral care, mentoring, and supporting young people.

A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

Computer and social media literate.

Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities.

Flexible and willing to travel nationally when required.
