Field Officer - London and SouthEast Region

Time For God (TfG) is a well-established international Christian volunteering charity. TfG exists to create an environment where full-time volunteers are encouraged to explore and grow in the Christian faith through a programme of service and personal development. Each year TfG recruits, trains and supports volunteers. Volunteers typically come from overseas, are matched with UK -based placements and TfG provides support and training to both parties.

TfG is seeking to appoint a highly capable and enthusiastic part time Field Officer to join the Field team of this small, quality-focused organisation. The post is part- time (18.75 hours) pro rata of 37.5 hours/week and home-based but includes some travel to placements and may include occasional with overnight stays. Due to the growing needs of the organisation, this post will be for London and Southeast

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience working in Youth work / outreach or similar environment, (e.g. young adult or student ministry), be computer and social media literate and have good communication and social skills.
Candidate must have experience of delivering pastoral care and mentoring of young adults. We are looking for a highly organised individual who is a self-starter, able to work well in a small team, and works well under pressure and with often conflicting priorities.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work for a small non-profit organisation with a strong commitment to encouraging the development of Christian values and faith within young adults whilst serving the greater community through voluntary service. The successful candidate would be required to travel away from home nationally.
