Operations Worker

St Luke's Church is seeking an individual to provide operational support for our two charities of St Luke’s Church and St Luke’s Church Hall. The role involves managing and developing systems to enable the church to pursue its vision.

Our vision at St Luke's is to be a flourishing local church, rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The role would include both operational and administrative leadership, as well as practical action and support. The Operations Worker will help to get the church organised so that relationships and mission flourish. We are located in the centre of town and our worshipping community numbers around 100. We have a spread of ages from infants to elderly and everyone is loved and valued. We are eager to grow in our connections with the local area and there are many opportunities to achieve this. The Church Hall is situated a short walk from the church building and is let during the week to a variety of community groups. Over time, the Operations Worker will play a key role in the work of the hall. For the right candidate, this is a wonderful opportunity to find fulfilment in using their gifts to serve the local church and develop their own skills and knowledge through professional opportunities and learning. We recognise that any applicant is likely to require training in certain areas in order to fulfil the role, and we will fully support this.
