  • Are you a committed Christian who is passionate about the persecuted church and the mission of Open Doors?
  • Are you energised by working with young people and youth leaders?
  • Are you inspired to help the next generation connect deeply with the global church and take meaningful action?

Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.

As our Youth Development Manager for England & Wales, you will play a key role in inspiring and mobilising young people to stand with persecuted Christians. Building on established relationships and forging new ones, you will serve youth leaders, churches, and influencers, encouraging them to engage with Open Doors Youth resources, deepen discipleship, and take practical action on behalf of the persecuted church. You will lead youth engagement across these nations, helping shape strategy and championing our vision within your region.

Working closely with the wider Youth Development Team, you will support the growth of our digital presence by contributing to social media content, creative campaigns and youth-focused resources. You will confidently represent Open Doors in a range of settings, from youth groups and summer festivals to conferences and national gatherings, sharing stories from the persecuted church and equipping young people to respond with prayer, action and advocacy. Relationship-building, public speaking and creativity are central to this role, alongside collaborating with Church Relationship Managers to strengthen our impact across England and Wales.

You will have the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors and to work with integrity and with purpose. We offer a flexible role with a good work-life balance, huge job satisfaction and employee benefits. You will work with some inspirational people and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your career.
