Christian Residential Network (formerly Christian Camping International (UK)) was founded in 1986 as an association of Christian centres and organisations involved in camps, holidays, conferences, retreats, festivals and outdoor activity ministries with the principal objective to advance the Christian faith.
The work of CRNet includes promoting the Christian residential experience, lobbying for members’ interests, providing information, services, resources, advocacy and consultancy services to members, facilitating fellowship and networking within the sector and providing support and encouragement to senior teams in CRNet organisations. CRNet organises an annual members’ conference and several regional events throughout the year.
In 2014, CRNet established a trading subsidiary, Christian Supply Chain Buying Group (CSCBG), which enables CRNet members and other organisations to access discounted goods and services from a range of suppliers. Any surplus generated by CSCBG is gifted to the charity and into Christian residential ministry.
CRNet is one of twenty-seven associations around the world which form part of CCI Worldwide, connecting people and organisations involved in Christian residential ministry.
CRNet employs three staff members (including the Chief Executive), who also perform functions for CSCBG, and a further two staff members are employed solely by CSCBG.
