CMS UK are a UK based charity raising money to support the work of Challenge Ministries Swaziland who care for over 400 HIV orphans in a town called Bulembu, Eswatini. Our men and womens centres run a 12 month discipleship programme for young people who have been addicts, abused and rejected by family. CMS also have a church planting programme reaching the whole nation of Eswatini for Christ.
CMS UK have a small staff team of 3 (Admin, fundraising and marketing) and a board who fund the operational costs so that donors know that their money goes to the cause they are supporting.
The charity raises in the region of £300-£500k per year with the ambition of becoming a £1m per year organization over the coming 5 years. In order to achieve this we are expanding our team.
The staff team are supported by a range of volunteers, for example in coordinating and leading regular mission trips to Eswatini.
The work environment is friendly, supportive and flexible. We all work from home, meeting regularly through Zoom.
