Barnabus is a Christian charity offering advice and support to people who are homeless in Manchester. For the past 30 years we've empowered people into a home through Christ's love.
Based in Manchester City Centre, our Support Centre offers practical support from a hot brew to accommodation referrals. Through our partnerships with other organisations, people can also access medical care, drug and alcohol treatment support, mental health support, physio, sight tests and hair cuts. We support people to make positive choices and to find the right pathway for them. Our Resettlement Programme helps tenants in private rented accommodation to learn to live independently and to start volunteering or find work.
At the heart of all our work is the gospel and we share this with people in a range of ways: Prayer and Reflection, Alpha and Outreach to various other projects in Manchester. Our faith is our strength and it's what sets us apart from the other charities we work with.
