Are you Kahaila’s next cafè manager? We are looking for a vibrant and energetic person to come and join our dynamic team and church.
Kahaila was established in 2012 as a new expression of church in the form of a coffee shop. We aim to be one of the best coffee shops in London and currently we are recognised in The London Coffee Guide - a guide of the best independent coffee shops in London. As a church we want the cafe to be a place where regardless of what you believe you can belong, even if that is just by being a regular who enjoy a great cup of coffee and a slice of delicious cake. And if you wanted to you could explore issues of the Christian faith and spirituality. Kahaila is also a charity and a home to three women’s projects that work with women from vulnerable backgrounds and Brew, a barista training course for people from the homeless community.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage our cafe in artistic Brick Lane. As a church and café we want to create an inclusive environment where all belong and all are free to explore the Christian faith.
