We are a new grouping within the Methodist Church in Britain, and will become the umbrella and accountability organisation for Methodist Churches across North West England from September 2024, with about 400 churches and projects.
Our aim is to support Methodist Churches in their Gospel mission.
We place a priority on values of Justice, Partnership, and Mutuality. We are committeed to solidarity with and inclusion of those who experience marginalisation.
Our purposes are those of the Methodist Church in Great Britain, and more locally include: providing organizational support to Methodist Churches within the District; working with circuits to provide a missional and strategic overview of ministry teams and buildings; promoting a diverse, active and growing church; and embracing the need for change and endings.
