Linking Lives UK is a national Christian charity working with churches and Christian organisations to reach and support socially isolated older people. This is achieved through setting up befriending schemes on a local level across the UK through which volunteers visit or call older people on a regular basis. This contact makes a huge difference to the lives of all involved leading to improved independence, self confidence and engagement with the wider community. 

We also provide training focusing on 'effective listening'; 'managing boundaries' and 'safeguarding' for volunteers operating in community spaces.
