Who we are
An independent evangelical church in the market town of Alton, Hampshire. Morning congregations average 45 and we have a small youth ministry, but run a successful 4 day Holiday Bible Club each summer with 30-60 children, many unchurched.
Your role
To share pastoral responsibilities within the church; leading and developing activities with children, young people and families. Supported by volunteers, our aim is for you to help children grow in faith and the number of families in church increase.
Skills and experience
- Personal Christian faith and acceptance of the Bible as God's word.
- A Genuine Occupational Requirement is for full agreement with the church's basis of faith which is aligned to FIEC, as well as with the FIEC ethos statements.
- Some experience of young people's work desirable.

Job Title: Will be decided based on the successful candidate.
Hours: Full time (hours negotiable)
Salary: Up to £33,000 pa. depending on hours and experience.
Two year contract with expectation of renewal.
Training: personal development is important and we will support this
