Key duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy that drives sustainable growth across multiple income streams, including individual donors, trusts, legacies, appeals, and grant-making bodies. 
  • Identify and implement innovative approaches, such as digital campaigns and social media outreach, to broaden and diversify our donor base. 
  • Strengthen donor relationships, deepening engagement and commitment through tailored, culturally sensitive approaches. 
  • Create compelling briefing materials for communications and field teams, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging. 
  • Collaborate with a small, experienced team to maximise impact and share best practices. 
  • Champion their global story, inspiring and mobilizing a wider, more diverse donor community. 
  • Support field staff in developing sustainable, in-country fundraising strategies.

The person appointed will have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment. An occupational requirement exists for the post-holder to be a practising Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
