Trustee-Director

The Chile for Christ Trust was registered as a UK charity in 1992 to fulfill Isaiah 49:6 by helping to take the light of God's salvation to the end of the earth. We are supported by donations from the UK which we use: to support Chilean churches and other Christian organizations in their work of evangelism, pastoral care and social service; families and individuals known to us who are in need; and disaster victims. We urgently need a trustee-director to handle relationships with the Charity Commission and have general oversight of the charity’s work. Time commitment: perhaps 4 hours a month.

Qualities needed: reliability, communication skills, teamwork, compassion, encouragement, faith in God, common sense and openness to the Holy Spirit's guidance. Written evidence of ability and experience relevant to the role will be required, as well as satisfactory character references including one from a person in authority in the applicant's local church. Posts are unpaid but any necessary and agreed expenses can be reimbursed.
