All Souls Serve the City
All Souls Serve the City (ASSTC) is a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO), based at All Souls Church bringing together a breadth of ministries serving those who are vulnerable. Our vision is to see all in London flourish in body and soul. We do this by offering the message and ministry of Jesus, focusing on those who are isolated, overlooked and exploited, due to their stage of life or their circumstances. Our ministries reach out from the All Souls parish, to Westminster and beyond. Each ministry is rooted in our values of love, honour and service. Loving the city and all who are in it, we love because He first loved us. Honouring and respecting all others as God’s image bearers, we seek to honour others above ourselves. We serve as Christ served us, joyfully and sacrificially. Demonstrating our love for one another and for the city, we seek to bring gospel hope and biblical truth to four distinct groups: those who find themselves homeless, women involved in the sex industry (including those who are trafficked and exploited), school children, and seniors.

ASLAN
The mission of ASSTC is to serve the isolated, overlooked and exploited in London, bringing the message and ministry of Jesus. Our aim in ASLAN, the All Souls Local Action Network, is to engage with people affected by homelessness by offering them individualised care, support and friendship.

West End Faith Groups Winter Night Communal Setting 2025/26:

West End Faith Groups Winter Night Communal Setting 25/26 is an innovative project for individuals rough sleeping in Westminster. The Winter Night Communal Setting will run for eight months, from the end of October to the end of June, with various churches contributing in different ways. Each venue will offer individualised companionship and support whilst the guests (re)engage with St Mungos and  Westminster Council, pursue Council-directed solutions for the short term, and explore long term housing  solutions.

Guests will initially be assessed by St Mungo’s as low risk (without mental health or addiction issues), but may be “high need” and will then be referred to the Communal Setting. For example, they may have a complex immigration status, be waiting for the outcome of an asylum appeal or they may have been offered government support elsewhere in the UK or at another time, but failed to engage with it due to language, cultural or community barriers.

The Communal Setting Coordinator will lead and oversee all aspects of the project. The role will be supported by up to 4 Relief Coordinators in order to cover all morning and night shifts, seven days/ week for the duration of the Communal Setting months. The Communal Setting Coordinator will be employed by All Souls Serve the City, the coordinating venue.

We are also advertising for one of these relief coordinators to fulfill a 4 hour a week shelter admin assistant role to support with the running of the shelter, alongside their relief coordinator duties.
