Associate Vicar

St Thomas Church Swansea and The Diocese of Swansea and Brecon are looking for an Associate Vicar to join the team based in St Thomas Church in Swansea.  The church has undergone major redevelopment over the last few years and has a city-wide reputation for social outreach including a food bank, baby bank, youth and children's work, community meals and support for the most vulnerable.  We have a dream to plant other churches, youth groups, and social outreach projects across the Diocese to fulfill our vision to play our part in the re-evangelisation of Wales, the transformation of society and the revitalisation of the church.  

We are seeking an Associate Vicar who is passionate about teaching and discipleship, adept at developing small group structures and dedicated to witnessing people of all ages encountering Jesus Christ. You will be comfortable ministering to a wide range of cultures including discipling those on the margins of the church and society.  

This is a full-time stipendiary position, offering Church in Wales stipend, pension and housing.
