Shiloh Rotherham is a charity founded on Christian values that offers support to adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.  Our team of staff and volunteers work with partners to provide support services at our Centre and in the wider community in line with our strategic objectives (e.g. supported accommodation units).  We offer a safe place where our guests will be accepted and supported throughout their time with us.  We work alongside every guest of Shiloh to help them plan for, and realise, a better future.  Our services are wide ranging covering: Advice & Support, Health & Wellbeing, Skills & Training and Catering & Practical Support.

We are looking for a passionate leader to join our team as Chief Executive.  With demonstrable experience at a senior level, ideally in the voluntary and community sector (VCS), this role requires someone with exceptional communication skills in order to forge strong working relationships with colleagues across the team, our guests (service users), wider partners and funders, external parties, churches, stakeholders and suppliers.

The Chief Executive will be responsible for providing leadership; developing and implementing the Charity’s strategic and business plans, leading on partnership and business development, and being an effective advocate for the Charity and our guests.  You will be required to provide operational management and financial control and ensure good governance across all aspects of the Charity.

As well as having the ability to lead the team through an inclusive, empowering and motivating leadership style, you must have the ability to influence at a high level across a range of services, stakeholders, commissioners and organisations as well as being able and willing to ‘get stuck in’ to help deliver our frontline services.
