Project Administrator

Kingdom Bank

Under relatively new ownership, the Bank is growing rapidly.  It is fast becoming the go-to bank for the evangelical churches in the UK who want to ensure their money is used to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen to join our Information, Technology and Systems team at our offices in Beeston, Nottingham.

The Bank is a close-knit and hard-working team of around 50 people. This size gives each of us the opportunity to be involved in a broader range of activities than might be the case at a larger financial institution. Our culture is to be hard-working and professional, yet informal and caring. Team members take responsibility for balancing flexibility in their individual working patterns with the twin priorities of supporting each other and delivering great customer service. We are committed to training and development, and to progression wherever possible.

Role

We’re looking for an experienced project administrator to support delivery of projects to enable the Bank to develop and expand its services to UK evangelical churches, charities and Christians.  This role will be an 18-month fixed term contract.

As a project professional, your knowledge of project best practice and skills in project administration will support the Bank’s Chief Information Officer, Project Manager and operational team members in the delivery of a significant and exciting programme of change over the next 18 months. Collaboration will be key as you seek to serve the business needs of the Bank and the needs of project stakeholders.

You’ll be an excellent and confident written and verbal communicator, with exceptional organisational skills and an eagle eye for detail.

Hours of Employment

35 hours per week to be agreed under company flexible working policy, but generally expected to be Mondays to Fridays and between 8.30am and 5.30pm.

27 days paid holidays (excluding bank holidays), with the opportunity to purchase an additional five days’ holiday up to a maximum entitlement of 32 days per annum.

Place of Employment

Role to be based at the Bank’s office: Media House, Padge Road, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2RS.

Remote working arrangements by agreement in accordance with the Bank’s flexible working policy. There is an expectation of at least two office-based days per week for this role.

Remuneration Package

Salary, dependent on skills and experience, between £25,000 and £29,000.

Salary sacrifice pension scheme: 9% of salary on an unmatched basis and up to 4% of total salary on a matched basis.

Other benefits in accordance with the Bank’s People Policy on completion of probation, including travel loan scheme, payroll giving scheme, additional holiday purchase, private medical insurance and death in service benefit.

Occupational Requirement

This role has been assessed as not carrying an Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be a committed Christian.  However, given the Bank’s overall mission of serving UK churches, the successful applicant for this role will at least be sympathetic to the Christian faith, and will be expected to be present for weekly full team meetings which normally include Bible reading and prayer.

Closing Date
