Personal Assistant (PA) To Vicar & Area Dean

All Saints church is looking to employ a Personal Assistant (PA) to Vicar & Area Dean to provide administrative assistance to the Vicar in the roles of Vicar of All Saints Ecclesall & Area Dean of Ecclesall Deanery, and work with the Vicar, Ministry and Operations teams (staff and volunteers) to take forward, in many practical ways, the calling of All Saints, Ecclesall  and with ministry and lay members across the Deanery to further its vision.

The church is a vibrant Anglican church with a variety of worship styles, offering a large number of services on Sundays and events during the week. As such the Vicar, Revd Canon Mark Brown utilises the support of a PA to manage his diary and correspondence.

The PA to the Vicar of All Saints Ecclesall role will be for 17 hours per week and includes elements of communications activity such as the management of our YouTube activity, Mailchimp account and updating basic content and information on the church website.

As Revd Brown is area Dean, the role includes 3 hour per week providing administrative support for the Deanery including regular email updates and setting meetings. These hours are externally funded.

We are looking an organised person, able to work proactively with limited supervision, completing work to a high standard of accuracy and to agreed deadlines. Our ideal candidate would be a good communicator, confident to speak with staff, volunteers and members of the public in an appropriate professional and sensitive manner as a representative of our church.
