John Scott Works

John Scott Works Ltd is a business, but that is not a full explanation of who we are.  To really understand the company, you need to understand our Christian ethos.  The company is founded on Christian principles.  The founders of the company share a Christian faith.  These Christian beliefs are encapsulated in the Basis of Faith of the evangelical alliance, which we have adopted as our own statement (www.eauk.org/connect/about-us/basis-of-faith.cfm).

This faith is something that infuses all that we do.  For example, we commit what we do to God, we pray for the work we do and those we come into contact with, we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in important business decisions.  We trust that our work will honour God. 

Who we are is therefore driven by our desire to see God’s kingdom on earth (as revealed by and in Jesus Christ).  We seek to be a beacon for the gospel in a commercial world.  That is why we do what we do, it is a calling.  Whilst we do not force our faith upon others, what we do, we want to do in Jesus name and we seek to be an ambassador for him.

We therefore seek to honour God through hard work and high standards.
