Langley has a fantastic opportunity for an organised, creative, and client focussed Approved Premises Deputy Service Manager with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our busy and friendly team in Bradford. This role is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £37,214 per annum. This is an ideal role for someone with experience of working within the criminal justice system in the UK.
What is Box Tree IAP?
Box Tree Independent Approved Premises is primarily for offenders who have been released on licence through the criminal justice sector and who require a high level of supervision.
We play a crucial role in supporting the management of offenders in their transition from custody into the community, to achieve successful resettlement. We assist with the well-being and supervision of Approved Premises residents, helping them to adhere to their license conditions and supporting them to keep themselves and others safe. We regularly carry out inspections, monitor behaviour and positively engage with residents, working closely with colleagues and in partnership with organisations across the criminal justice sector.
As a Deputy Manager you will play a vital role in Public Protection by ensuring that residents in our care are supported to adhere to their licence conditions set by the criminal justice sector, and that staff on duty are supported and this includes Out of Hours Support.
What are the Key Responsibilities of the Role?
- Play a crucial role in supporting the management of offenders in their transition from custody into the community, to achieve successful resettlement.

- Regularly carry out inspections, monitor behaviour and positively engage with residents, working closely with colleagues and partner agencies.
- Play a vital role in Public Protection by ensuring that residents in our care are supported to adhere to their licence conditions set by the criminal justice sector, and that staff on duty are supported and this includes Out of Hours Support.
- Supervising staff - giving Christian pastoral support to staff, outworking and role modelling of Christian values and ethos including one value 'being Christ-like'.
As a manager:
- To engage with Christian faith based aspects of the Trust's daily and weekly life such as leading prayers, devotions and worship.
- The post holder must be a role model for Christian values and must understand and demonstrate the Christian ethos and values which are at the heart of the Trust’s work. The post holder must be a Christ-centred individual who is able to put their belief in Christ into action as a leader.
