Purpose & Context
Crown Church is a multicultural church, made up of people from over 60 nationalities. Every Sunday Crown Church hires a local secondary school for our weekly worship gathering. Teams of volunteers come together to help make this happen and the role of Events Manager is being introduced to take a lead in the planning, coordinating and delivery of this. In addition to the Sunday service there are a number of other events such as ‘Carols at Crown’ at Christmas and our ‘International Celebration’ where we celebrate being a church of many nations and cultures.
Throughout the year there are also a regular flow of events and activities hosted at our community venue called ‘The Living Room’. This role will support the venue being ready to accommodate these events and ensuring the key infrastructure is in place for them to run successfully. This role will also play the overall operational lead in the planning and delivery of Crown members attending external events such as the youth festival ‘Newday’.
