At Christ Central, Redhill, we’re looking for a gifted and strategic Head of Staff to join our vibrant church family. This is a senior role offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract (35 hours per week), with the possibility of transitioning to a 3-day per week permanent position thereafter. You'll be at the heart of our church life, focusing on three key areas:
· Managing Staff Team: You’ll champion a healthy, supportive, and dynamic staff culture. You’ll be the go-to person for line management, professional development, and ensuring our team feels valued, clear, and equipped to serve.
· Supporting our Leadership: You’ll work closely with our Elders and Trustees, acting as a strategic partner. You'll help translate our God-given vision into practical, well-managed plans.
· Managing our Resources: You’ll oversee the smooth running of our church ‘engine’—coordinating our finances, building, and IT functions to ensure we are effective, compliant, and excellent stewards of all God has given us.
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has a genuine heart for supporting and developing people
· Is a natural organiser and strategic thinker, able to turn vision into reality
· Brings wisdom and warmth to management and governance
· Has experience in leadership, management, or administration (whether in a church, charity, or business context)
· Enjoys working collaboratively and excited to serve
The salary for this role is £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
