Event Sales Representative

We are recruiting for two positions for event sales representatives.

The role: You’ll be travelling the UK providing pop-up book shops at churches, events and conferences, serving those attending with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic service. You’ll speak in front of large crowds as well as talk one-on-one, recommending resources and seeking to envision the church of how they can use books. Alongside this work, you’ll help grow sales in person, by email and phone. This is a role that involves nights away, both during the week and at weekends. You will be away serving churches on average three weekends in every five.

The location: London/North London, or at our 10ofThose HQ in Leyland, Lancashire. Other locations in the UK would be considered.

The requirements:

• a committed Christian with full agreement to our basis of faith.

• able to demonstrate your sales drive and business understanding, even if you don’t have long term experience in these areas.

• innovative and creative when looking for sales leads, while able to follow directly.

• passionate about books and their role in discipleship and evangelism.

• committed to working evenings and weekends, including nights away, at churches and venues around the country.

• confident and assertive while showing humility and quickness to learn.

• excellent verbal communication skills and an ability to multitask.

• dedication to providing excellent customer service.

• confidence to stand up and speak in front of groups of people.

• full driving licence for longer than 1 year.

Salary: £26,000 (£30,000 if London based) and overnight bonus for when working away from home. Your salary will be reviewed annually.

Hours: Full–time, though working hours will vary, with evenings and frequent weekends required.
