Primary School Chaplain (Maternity Cover)

We are looking to appoint a primary school specialist worker to work within our School Chaplaincy team. This role will be based at St. Matthew's Primary School, Ipswich, building on the successful work of our previous Chaplaincies, on a maternity cover basis. The successful applicant will be developing this role in partnership with the pastoral management teams within the school.

The role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian. 

Working Hours: 15 hours per week (41 weeks per year) - working days will be agreed with the schools before the role commences.

Details: Role to commence September 2024, and run through until the end of July 2025, with the possibility of extension. 

Benefits: This is a term-time role, so the appointed employee will have school holidays + bank holidays and a contributory pension scheme.
